Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MahiyaVe. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MahiyaVe mobile application ("App"), website at mahiyave.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by MahiyaVe ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using our App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use MahiyaVe:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law
• You are not prohibited from using the Services under any applicable law
• You have not been previously banned or removed from MahiyaVe

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above criteria. We reserve the right to request identity verification at any time.

Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in your profile
• Keep your phone number and account credentials secure
• Not share your account with anyone else
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or to manipulate the platform is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently deactivate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MahiyaVe to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent
• Upload or share sexually explicit, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate content
• Promote dowry, discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or disability
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation unrelated to matrimony or wedding services
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the App
• Interfere with the App's functionality or security
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to MahiyaVe (photos, biodata, messages, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Services.

You are solely responsible for all content you submit. You warrant that:

• You own or have the rights to all content you upload
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your photos depict only yourself (or persons who have given explicit consent)
• Your content does not violate any applicable law

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without notice.

Matrimonial Features

MahiyaVe is a platform to help you discover and connect with potential life partners. We do not guarantee any matches, relationships, or marriages as a result of using the App.

• Compatibility percentages are generated algorithmically and are indicative only
• Family Verification and Trust Scores are based on user-provided information and are not independently verified by us
• You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before meeting any match in person
• Always meet potential matches in safe, public places
• We are not liable for the conduct of any user you connect with through the platform

Wedding Commerce (W-Commerce)

The W-Commerce module connects you with third-party wedding vendors (venues, photographers, caterers, decorators). Please note:

• Vendor listings are provided for informational purposes; we do not endorse any specific vendor
• Contracts, bookings, and payments made directly with vendors are between you and the vendor — MahiyaVe is not a party to those agreements
• We are not responsible for vendor cancellations, quality of service, or disputes arising from vendor bookings
• AI planner recommendations ("Mahi") are suggestions only and do not constitute professional event planning advice
• Budget estimates are approximate and may vary based on actual vendor pricing

Payments & Refunds

If MahiyaVe offers any paid features or premium subscriptions in the future, the following will apply:

• All payments will be processed securely through Google Play billing
• Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law
• You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refund requests for in-app purchases must be submitted through Google Play

Currently, MahiyaVe's core features are free to use. This section will be updated when paid features are introduced.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, logos, and trademarks in the MahiyaVe App and website are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our Services without our prior written permission.

The MahiyaVe name, logo, and "Mahi" AI planner are trademarks of MahiyaVe. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App
• Accuracy or completeness of any content or user profiles
• That the App will meet your specific requirements

We do not verify the identity, background, intentions, or honesty of any user. Use your own judgment when interacting with other members.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MahiyaVe and its team shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Harm arising from interactions with other users, whether online or in person
• Losses resulting from your reliance on AI-generated suggestions (bio, planner)
• Service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹500 if you have paid nothing).

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the App. Upon deletion, your profile, photos, and messages will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law will survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send a push notification to active users
• Show an in-app notice prompting you to review the updated Terms

Continued use of MahiyaVe after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
